Four friends
Tritone Junction grew out of a shared love of the music — the kind that sounds best in a small room with a low ceiling and a good crowd. Traditional jazz rooted in New Orleans and the Dixieland tradition, played with the energy and looseness the music deserves.
We take the music seriously. We don't take ourselves too seriously.
The voice of the band. Kai's flugelhorn carries the melody with warmth and a nod to the New Orleans masters.
The heartbeat. Arthur holds the groove with the kind of steadiness that makes a room feel settled.
Light-handed and precise. Joel drives the swing without ever getting in the way of the music.
Rhythmic, chordal, and always listening. Kae's guitar ties the whole thing together.
Based in Liverpool, we play regularly across Merseyside — jazz clubs, pubs, private venues, weddings, and festivals. Available throughout the North West and beyond.
The music that sounds best late in the evening, with a good drink and nowhere to be.
